Final piece of the Collegelands Masterplan

The £95m development to complete the Collegelands Masterplan has been granted planning permission by Glasgow City Council. Manson have worked on the project from RIBA stage 0, taking the project through feasibility stages, concept stages and navigating the planning process.

We’re very proud to be working for Glasgow Enlightenment, a joint venture between Drum Property Group and Dawn Developments Ltd. The joint venture brings two highly respected and recognised developers together to deliver an outstanding development in the east of Glasgow.

Plans have been approved for Collegelands Park which will feature two new student accommodation blocks with 591 beds in total, 147 rented apartments and a new arts centre.

The 2.5-acre park - a much-needed green space offering a breath of fresh air for the city - will include meadows, orchards, seating areas, and spaces for exercise.

The design team included Iceni, Wallace Whittle, Etive Consulting Engineers and Gardiner & Theobald.
